On the first day of the school year the People's Artist of Belarus , laureate of the State Prize of the Republic of Belarus , the artistic director of the ensemble "Khoroshki" Valentine Gaevaya met with students SEE " High school № 70 named . LN Gurteva " Minsk.
Attending the meeting were Deputy Governor Pershamajski district of Minsk Yasinskaya Inna and methodologist of organizational and methodological support of competitive movement and pedagogical initiatives Minsk City Institute of Education Development Strechin Ludmila .
The meeting was devoted to the traditional culture and history of the Belarusian people and was aimed at developing students' patriotism , dialogue and deepen the interest of generations of schoolchildren to folk music and dance. Valentine Gaevaya told about the founding of the ensemble "Khoroshki" , creating costumes and Renaissance perception Belarusian folklore abroad. Students were asked the People's Artist of questions, and after meeting the school director Eugene Veniaminovna Rudova conducted a tour of the school to the museum of the Great Patriotic War and the Cabinet of moral education
